International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum)
Forum is the most significant global network of International Volunteer Co-operation Organisations (IVCOs). Forum exists to share information, develop good practice and enhance co-operation across the international volunteering and development sectors. It promotes the value of volunteering for development through policy engagement, mutual learning and by sharing innovative and good practices. Forum is a ‘virtual’ network, with a global membership that includes a range of organisations involved in international development, including non-government and state organisations.
Oxfam-Québec
Oxfam-Québec is a dynamic organisation of dedicated people working together for a world without poverty. People are front and centre in all of their activities. Oxfam-Québec carry out development projects, they work to save lives through the delivery of emergency humanitarian assistance, they raise funds to help people and communities in the South, they campaign for lasting change, and they rally the youth of Québec to take action.
SUCO
SUCO is a Canadian international cooperation agency founded in 1961 to carry out sustainable development projects to strengthen personal, organisational and community autonomy in different countries: Burkina Faso, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru and Senegal. SUCO’s mission is to bring people together to share knowledge and resources that will strengthen their capacity for action, alone and as a community, and to improve the social, economic and environmental conditions prevalent in developing countries. Gender equality, solidarity, participation and sustainable development inspire all its actions.
